Tulsa graffiti is out of control. KOTV channel 6 and the Tulsa World have both had multiple features on the increase in gang and mischievous vandalism. Bridges, overpasses and buildings are defaced throughout Tulsa. The City of Tulsa was asked to address the problem and what citizens of Tulsa can do to help on The Future of Real Estate radio programs but used the excuse that the show was a "promotional program" to avoid having to discuss the problem publicly. Allen Stanton, City Inspector, oversees the City's removal of graffiti. Keith Isbell, Chief Communications Officer for the City of Broken Arrow, explained how the City of Broken Arrow has taken steps to keep graffiti vandals out of the city and maintain the beauty Broken Arrow offers to its residents instead.
Tulsa's web page offers an online form to submit a location for graffiti removal for free. The page also says the Mayor's Action Line will accept requests for graffiti removal. Drive around town and you will see they have their work cut out for them.
