What is CASA? CASA is Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA advocates are volunteers who speak for neglected and abused children in court. These kids are in the custody of the state. They hep determine what is the best interest of the child. The volunteer will talk to everyone involved...parents, dhs workers, attorneys, teachers, and the child. They relay that information to the judge who is able to make a well informed decision. For more information on CASA visit www.tulsacasa.org.
What are Bird Mites? You first have ot find the nesting area of the birds and try to remove the nesting area. The mites are very small and are hard to see. After the birds are removed we can dust the mites and use a liquid product. Many companies won't exterminate for these because they can't guarantee a 100% elimination for these. This is not a common problem. About half of those I have dealt with were not actually bird mites, they were other issues and can even be psychological. Bird Mites are not something that we can determine as a problem. You can tell if birds are getting in the attic but can't always determine for mites. When trying to select a company to exterminate for pests, check with the Better Business Bureau. Things Borrowers Should Know about FHA Loans? There is no income cap for an FHA loan but there is a price cap of about $280,000. The FHA loan is usually great for people who are looking for a lower downpayment requirement. They are not associated with low income housing requirements. Often they are more affordable than conventional loans. The down-payment can be as low as 3% but a conventional loan will often have lower fees. FHA loans are also assumable. The buyer will pay the difference between sales price and what you owe on the home. How do I exterminate the Cicada Killer? The Cicada Killer is a large wasp like flying insect. The female is the only one that will sting. The males can't sting. It is not likely that one will sting you unless you pick one up. They can be a little smaller than a hummingbird. They make noise when they fly and will chase you.
